It's been an amazing week at the piano Week 2013! It's been a sort of week which made me realize how much I love my job! The brave Pakistani girl who fought for women's right for education and got shot by Taliban has now enrolled at my old school! I'm so thrilled to hear this news! I think the school is perfect for someone who believes in women's rights and she will have a fabulous time there!!! :D
Read more about this on BBC. DANIEL KOPLOWITZ (AKA Daniel de Souza as an author) was my wonderful friend in Turkey. He was an English man living in Gumusluk Turkey and I've met him when I first went to Gumusluk International Music Festival. I stayed at his hostel and he was a warm hearted lovely man. I went back twice again to see him and he is a wonderful friend of mine. He was also known as an author of UNDER THE CRESCENT MOON and He had an adventurous life! I have found out about his death today. He died in London during his cancer treatment. I am so so sad for this loss. Here is this wonderful man's singing which I recorded on my phone when I was staying with him in Turkey. It will warm your heart. :) https://soundcloud.com/taniyamiyak/gumusluk-jam-ekin-x-danny Here is the link to find his book http://www.amazon.co.uk/Under-Crescent-Masks-Daniel-Souza/dp/1852421428 WE LOVE YOU DANNY!
